WHAT HAPPENED TO H.S. TRASK?
The H.S. Trask brand was acquired by Genesco in 2011. A small team, including the original H.S. Trask head of design, has been working hard over the past two years to restore the brand. Staying true to the brand’s heritage, Trask embodies the ideals of quality materials, superior craftsmanship and rugged yet refined style.
DO YOU CARRY ANY OLDER STYLES FROM H.S. TRASK?
The new collection draws inspiration from Trask's rich heritage. However, we no longer have access to previous H.S. Trask inventory. We hope you'll find a similar favorite style in the current line.
CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE MY OLD H.S. TRASK SHOES?
Unfortunately, we no longer have access to prior H.S. Trask inventory so are unable to accept returns or exchanges.
IS THE NEW GALLATIN DIFFERENT THAN THE ORIGINAL?
The new Gallatin is similar in styling, but has been upgraded from the original. It's made with premium materials, including Horween ChromeXL bison leather, full leather linings, natural latex outsoles and memory foam foot beds.
WILL YOU OFFER EXTENDED SIZES (7, 7.5, 14, 15) OR NARROW/WIDE SHOES IN THE FUTURE?
Currently Trask shoes are offered in men's size 8-12, 13 and women's size 6-10, 11. We continually evaluate consumer demand and will do our best to try to accommodate as many sizes as possible.
DO YOU RECONDITION OR REPAIR SHOES?
With proper care, your Trask shoes should last years. Should your shoes require repair or reconditioning, your local cobbler is a great resource.
